Steam / PC Game (Starter)

I'll build a starter PC game for Windows, connect the Steam features, and help you prepare the store page.

01 · Is this for you?

Who this package works best for.

This is for an indie developer or creator with a PC game idea that can be built around one main gameplay loop. I'll make a Windows build, connect the Steam features, and help you get it ready to submit.

02 · What you get

Here's exactly what comes with it.

  • A PC game built in your engine of choice (Godot, Unity, or similar)
  • Core game loop implemented (your mechanics)
  • Steamworks integration: achievements, cloud saves, basic overlay support
  • Windows build, Steam-ready
  • Steam store page copy and asset guidance
  • Source code, documented and handed over
  • Help with the Steam submission process

  2. 02

    Strategy

We'll decide how the game works, what the first version includes, and which Steam features it needs.

Optional extras

Estimated build

$3,800 – $12,500

Timeline neighborhood: 4–7 weeks. Ranges assume one senior builder, clear decisions, and assets that show up. Exact quote is free and itemized.

05 · What's not included

A few things this price doesn't cover.

If you need one of these, ask me about it. I'll tell you what it adds to the price before I start.

  • Steam Direct fee ($100, paid to Valve)
  • Original art and sound assets (use your assets or stock)
  • Mac and Linux builds (add-on)
  • Multiplayer backend (separately scoped)
  • Marketing and wishlist generation
  • Console ports (separate scope entirely)

06 · Questions

A few things you may want to know.

How long does this take?
Websites usually take a few days. Apps and games usually take 2–4 weeks because there is more to build and test. Once I have your intake answers, I'll give you a delivery date before I start.
Do I own the work?
Yes. You get the source code, masters, stems, or other final files that come with the product. I may show the finished work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.
What if I need changes after it ships?
One round of revisions is included. After launch, you can ask me for a one-time edit, use the Site Care plan, or plan a larger second phase. I won't put you into a subscription automatically.
What's not included that I might expect?
Look at the 'What's not included' section above. If you need something on that list, ask me about it and I'll price it before I start.
Can I get a refund?
You can get a full refund until I start the work. After I start, completed work is non-refundable. You'll see the result in staging before it goes live.
What if I want something more custom than what's listed?
Send me a message and tell me what you need. I'll help you separate what belongs in the first version from what can wait, then send you a custom quote.
