The Slap Market

A mobile-first 9:16 browser game — crop your photo onto a ragdoll and slap it. The smoke harness caught a real bug before launch.

Upload. Crop. Slap.

A mobile-first 9:16 browser game built around one interaction: the slap.

What I built

Phaser 4 with Matter physics. Players upload and crop a photo onto a ragdoll, drag to slap, and land on a Supabase leaderboard with share links. Around the game, an automated end-to-end smoke harness that exercises demo mode, real drag slaps, and the share flow.

The honest lesson

The harness earned its keep before launch day. It caught a real routing bug, and I fixed it before any player could meet it. A silly game deserves a serious test rig — the seams between upload, physics, and sharing are where launches die.
